Popular Activities Continues in March

  • Diabetes Support continues on Tuesday, March 14th at 10am at BPCC. This is a very focused group working on maintaining wellness and good health with Diabetes. A similar group meets at Peter Paul Development Center, call us for more information. 353-3171.
  • Weight Management Group will be meeting on March 17th at BPCC at 2 pm.
  • Information and Conversations:  Mickie will introduce the "The Power of Touch" at BPCC Mar. 31st at 11 am.
  • "Medical Record Keeping - For All" will be held Mar. 31st 2 pm. BPCC. ? "What is JenCare?" held at FBC,
  • March 2nd, 10:30 am.;  Lisa will share information on Herbs and Holistic Healing (LMAR - Integrated Healing--March 3rd at BPCC at 2 pm). After her talk, she will be available for a Massage ($1 Per Minute). Call 353-3171 for massage appointment.  Other days we will talk about "What's in the News"....why not join the conversation.
  • Pot Luck Lunches continue to be a favorite activity at BPCC. The next is on Friday, March 10th. Please sign up and select the type of dish (to feed at least 6 or 8), you plan to bring: Main Dish, Casserole (a main dish substitute), Veggies, Appetizer or Dessert. Sign up in person at BPCC on a sign-up sheet, by email, or by phone.
  • All Kinds of Crafts continue at most locations. This month we will be creating Spring Cards for St. Patrick's Day: March 3rd, 10-11 am. at BPCC; March 6th, at The Arbors, from 11-12 pm.; and March 14th, at BPCC from 2-3 pm.
  • Don't forget Watercolors on March 7th, at BPCC from 10-12 pm.; or work on your knitting project on March 21st from 10-12 (always bring your own supplies).
  • Jewelry Recycle Day! On March 7, from 2-3 pm. members can bring in old jewelry, unusual items and bits and pieces, so we can plan some special projects for April. Redesign your own or share and discover something new. You might just enjoy doing this and declutter your jewelry box at the same time!
  • Conversational Spanish Classes will continue in March and April with Lisa Zajur at Battery Park Christian Church.  The series of 4 classes is $40 (March 10th and March 24th, from 2-3 pm and two classes in April). Practice Your Spanish with Joan most Fridays at Battery Park Christian Church at 10 am. Practice Your Spanish w/Claire, Joan and Lois on Tuesdays at 10 am. at Battery Park CC.
  • Patchwork Quilting Project will continue on March 24th at BPCC from 10-12 noon. Remember to bring your ongoing project and tools. We want to take pictures of the finished product.
  • Investment Club with Ann Manelo will continue on March 28th at 2 pm.
  • Genealogy Club will meet on March 9th at FBC at 10:30 am. and will also take a field trip to the Virginia Library to explore their heritage further on March 30th 1-3 pm.
  • Travel Club. "New Orleans - Uncovered". Three travelers to New Orleans will share their experiences at the March Travel Club, (March 16th at 1pm).
