March Calendar Brings New Art, Faberge and More Spanish

In March, you can enjoy the art exhibit of Natasha Bowdoin at the Visual Arts Center and even try to create a piece of your own after your tour in a private workshop. March 8th at 10am.

Gabriella Pepe, a volunteer, will bring Watercolors & Pencil Art to the Battery Park Christian Church on March 7th from 10 to 12 pm. Bring your creativity and come ready to get inspired.

We have a guided tour of the VMFA Faberge exhibit at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on March 15th at 1pm. Join us at 11:30 for self-pay lunch at the Best Cafe before the guided tour. This beautiful new Faberge collection has been expanded with additional items from the museum's archives.

In March, we start our next series of four Conversational Spanish classes at Battery Park (March 10th and March 23rd and two in April). Total cost is $40 for the set of four. In addition to classes, we also offer mentoring sessions and Spanish practice with Joan on Fridays. On Tuesdays, a volunteer, Claire, converses with our Spanish learners from 10-12 (through April). In May, we plan to enjoy Cinco de Mayo and the Que Pasa Festival.
